1.概述

Carbon disulfide is mainly used as a solvent and raw material for the synthesis of some fine chemical products, and the solvent is mainly used for the production of viscose fiber, cellophane synthesis and insoluble sulfur, grease, rubber and so on。As a chemical raw material, it is used to synthesize dimethyl sulfide, dimethyl sulfoxide, rubber vulcanization accelerator M, D and xanthate mineral flotation agent, etc. It is also used to extract oil from flaxseed, olive fruit, animal bone, leather and wool。

2.Market demand and forecast

With the rapid development of the global economy, carbon disulfide as an important organic chemical raw materials, now the demand has gradually recovered from a stable growth trend, due to the development of viscose fibers, rubber auxiliaries and mineral processing agents in China and the Asia-Pacific region, the production and demand of carbon disulfide will have a certain degree of growth。

3.Production plan and scale

3.1 Production process overview

Carbon disulfide production methods are mainly charcoal - sulfur process, coke - sulfur process, methane - sulfur process。Charcoal and coke-sulfur process has been replaced by natural gas process in developed countries because of its small scale, high energy consumption, serious pollution and high cost。Methane-sulfur process is based on methane and sulfur as raw materials. The methane conversion rate is high and the side reaction is less. The hydrogen sulfide generated is converted into sulfur by Klaus process and recycled。

3.2. Selection of process scheme

In this project, methane-sulfur method is selected, pure methane is mixed with liquid sulfur into the heating furnace, and the reaction generates hydrogen sulfide, carbon disulfide and a small amount of sulfur. Finished carbon disulfide is produced through desulfurization unit, hydrogen desulfide unit and carbon disulfide fine unit。The heating furnace part is our proprietary technology。
